    • New purpose for World 2 New purpose for World 2 / DMM: At the request of @Deadmen the below changes have been made: Moving forward Vulcan will host a weekly Deadman Mode event with a prize pool of $1,000 USD / 6,000m OSGP (every weekend), with a similar format to Rust At the start of each month, all accounts will be fully wiped At the end of each week, any account that enters the final 1v1 will lose their gear, non-combat stats and point balances (pvm, skilling, exchange points, etc). You will keep your combat stats & prayers unlocked and just need to rebuild your gear for the following weekend's multi & 1v1 stage As I can see gear fatigue becoming a thing (having to kill demonics every week for example) a very very basic gear setup will be provided to enter the 1v1s to encourage everyone to still participate if you didn't have time to gear that week Changes implemented since last weekend's DMM #6: Admins can now pause the DMM round and correct any issues before it resumes Admins can now trade with players in a tournament in emergencies The timer between rounds has increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds The banks that spawn in round 1 will now stay for 3 minutes before they de-spawn When the banks spawn they will specify they disappear when the timer hits 25 Mystery boxes have been made untradeable again Divine / regular rune pouches will no longer drop to the ground for your opponent Breaches can now spawn in all 8 locations over the map vs just 4 in the wilderness Breaches can now spawn in single locations Loot keys from PKs will now specify where the key has gone to both players involved Disabled special restore from pvp kills as it's a world 1 only perk Freezes now break when a player traverses up/down a ladder Morrigans axes/javelins have been added to the global loot table BOFA and VW now correctly load their last-saved attack style Bofa/Morrigans axe/dorg cbow no longer work with sigil of the ninja Dying in PvP will now clear your rune pouch of runes God staff are now lost on PvP deaths You will no longer keep 3 items when you die unskulled You will no longer keep untradeables on death that are normally lost to match osrs Dt2 bosses now receive 3x loot from day four with other bosses Removed multiple items from DMM mboxes like virtus & spirit shields Added bandos boots, armadyl helmet, drake's claw and trident Added new raid bonuses and 3x drops at DT2 bosses to day 4 & 5 Limited votes to match main world of 3 per 12hrs per account Graphics now play for the final winner You can join the DMM Discord here: https://discord.gg/295JKKWbuw

    • Hey there, you might know me as Go Again L4M in game. I started off playing door until I got a Shadow drop from ToA. In the meantime I've completed about 200 900+ invocation runs over different accounts and I'm only missing the pet from my completion log. I'll be releasing guides for most common builds in the game. I'm currently setting up my door build to display the full potential (and fun) you can have in ToA as a Dinh's Bulwark spec master. However, considering when I got my Shadow I swapped my main account to a Berserker Mage, I will be releasing guides in the following order: Berserker Mage, Weapon Master Melee, and any form of Ranged build. The most basic guide will follow. Excuse me talking uncomfortably to myself. I've only ever had to do this for university pitches, so have mercy on my soul. I will add the rest of the guides to this thread so new ToAers will have a collection of videos and sample runs, along with some commentary and tips/tricks to look back on while learning.  Do know that it is absolutely normal to make mistakes. I've played with the best ToA runners in the game and sometimes mistakes just happen. Even on farm content, you can make a mistake that will end your run or leave one person to clean up for the rest. If you are learning this is doubly so. I hope that this encourages more people to try out solo (or even group) ToAs. Most of the knowledge and strategies in these videos are entirely transferable between solo and group content and you can make your start at any time and at any pace that you feel like. Some mechanics might feel overwhelming at first, but practice and experience will make most content second nature. Before you watch the video, I do want to say that I am using BIS gear here. However completions with less than optimal gear are very possible. The video would have dragged on for another 15 minutes if I had to add my run with a trident/rcb and I attempted to keep these short and concise, but elaborate enough to know how to react to certain situations. Do know that Sanguinesti staff is ideal for learners as you can cover a lot of mistakes. The better gear, the more mistakes you can make and the faster your runs will naturally be. For demonstration purposes I ran a couple of my runs to simply illustrate that what might be considered challenging content for some will become easier as you get more acquainted with it. Berserker Mage Solo 900 The following is not a method of flexing as the run was littered with mistakes. However, doing said runs is possible with the right strategies. You will have to rely heavier on your relics rather than your gear. If wanted I can upload this run separately, although I won't be including this in a guide setting. My door build is missing just the yellow crystal from ToA, but I will add on to this thread when it is ready to do a run. Door build is just as effective (and has an insane amount of utility both solo and in group settings) compared to Berserker Mage's raw DPS output. I'll be adding on to this thread a door solo 900 and a range solo 900 when I have time to record a couple of runs on these accounts.
    • Misc  Corrected Zuriels staff dropping 50 at once like it was a morrigans ranged wep  Corrected multi arena having some spots marked as singles  Corrected 1v1 tournament not dropping opponent's ammo on death  Corrected 1v1 tournament not dropping opponent's ring on death  1v1 tournament will no longer unimbue items or revert to uncharged states, so they keep their bonuses (i.e. dfs, wyvern shields, toxic sodt etc)  Untradeable items like infernal cape will now drop to the ground for your opponent in 1v1s  Corrected Rampage & Aggression sigil working together, to clarify - if you equip both only rampage will function  Aggression sigil now also works in PvP scenarios  Rampage now works in PvP scenarios  Anglerfish no longer overheal to 121 if you're in pvp combat within the last 10 seconds  Added bank eat delay on karambwans and potions   Freezes are now broken at 10 tile distance vs 12  Saturated heart boost now only lasts for 5 minutes vs 7  Saturated heart will no longer boost back up if you brew down  Fixed a bug with using sigil of consistency in PvP scenarios  Energy transfer can now only be used in multi  Starting 3 sigils now calculate their chance to proc at the start of a hit vs after damage calculation  All sigils have been set to untradable for this DMM  Breach slayer monsters no longer require a slayer level to attack Lowered the teleport restriction to 1 minute after dying or logging in  Updated DMM mystery box loots,  Removing: godsword hilts, food/pots, divine spirit shield Added: sigil box, virtus armour, vestiges for rings Misc rarity changes Vote shop: Mystery box is now 15 tickets each Added arcane / dex prayer scrolls Added scroll shop point scroll to purchase account permanent upgrades Notes:  You'll need 1 hour of playtime to claim any votes  You'll need 10 hours of playtime to purchase mystery boxes from the vote shop  Every time you do either of these, a ping is sent to the staff team with all of your details Almost all NPCs have access to the global DMM loot, but the two I'm sure most people would like to know are: Chance of DMM Sigil box: NPC Level 400 or above: 1 in 112 kills NPC Level 275 or above: 1 in 184 kills NPC Level 150 or above: 1 in 281 kills NPC Level 75 or above: 1 in 1,350 kills NPC Level below 75: 1 in 2,025 kills Chance of a VLS specifically (roll the global loot table, then pick VLS from it): NPC Level 400 or above: 1 in 800 kills NPC Level 275 or above: 1 in 1,377 kills NPC Level 150 or above: 1 in 2,050 kills NPC Level 75 or above:  1 in 7,800 kills NPC Level below 75: 1 in 12,200 kills Other Breaches will drop loot to 7 people who deal at least 50 damage per mob, but this can be configured as we go if it's too low Corp beast drop mechanics match Nex, where everyone in the room with a min damage contribution gets a loot roll Virtus has custom stats on Vulcan, placing it slightly above ancestral (and then additionally has the ancient magicks effect) 50% of Donations can be transferred back to World 1 at the conclusion of the DMM, if we received enough to cover prize pools, this will be confirmed after the final 1v1s
