New Player Guide

Looks good so far, some things I’d like to see added to this are:

World 2 death mechanics, dying in W2 is treated as if you were skulled, meaning you only keep 1 item on death if you’re using protect item and you also lose 1 of your 10 most valuable stacks of items in your bank. This means if you had 3 scythes and you died and it rolled your scythe, you would lose all 3. W2 also has skull timers which prevent you from entering safe zones for a period of time after attacking other players.

Gambling Zone provides automated Flower Poker to prevent scamming, just deposit coins/plats to the NPC and right click gamble on another player to send a request. Balances will be automatically taken and given to the winner.

2x CoX/ToB Loot doesn’t give 2x loot, it doubles your chance of receiving a rare unique drop.

2x Barrows gives 2 drops per kill at Linza (Barrows Boss) as well.

The Armour stand north of home, beside the pvp tournament lobby, can be used to break down weapons/armour to provide components which can be used to repair end-game gear or fortify pvp weapons, making them non-degradable. By clicking “View Upgrades” on the stand you can see a list of different upgrades and how to unlock them.

The Leagues Quest NPC outside of home bank provides you with a long quest that revolves around sacrificing items to unlock the 2x attack speed orb.

Thanks Nieve!

I added all of that information and knowing about the armour stand answered another dozen things I did not understand. Huge help!

One thing I still don't understand completely is the attack speed orb. As far as I understand it, you unlock it after completing all 5 tasks for the Leagues Tutor. It's a physical item that you use to gain 200% attack speed for 60 seconds (cooldown? all styles?). The guide is broken down in steps 1-5 but each step has 3 steps of it's own. Just wanting clarification on why that is the case, is it just the way it's formatted or do you get to choose one of the 5 quests or something different?

Is there a section that shows what you get from the different boxes. T1 T2 Skilling and Collection Box? I might be missing more as I just started yesterday but haven’t seen anything with overall possible loot.

For T1 & T2 you can check drop tables in the quest tab -> Kourend section and for the others im not sure if there's info out there but it's usually some GP and items related to the skill

Is there a global loot drop table anywhere?

There is not, I've heard that it's just items like skilling boxes, various scrolls, sigils, and maybe a couple more things I can't recall. Should be publicized though for sure

Attack speed orb is 200% attack speed for all combat styles for one minute. I has a 5 or 6 minute cooldown. I think part of the reason the quests are broken up like they are is because some of them require sets. One step in particular you can use either Justicar, Ancestral, or one other (can't remember). On that one you don't need all three sets, just one of whichever you can get your hands on.

I think another reason they may be broken up like they are is to help you not get lost on what you have and have not done, and gives you more of a sense of progression towards the item.
